Serial numbers
Magic Leap
Magic Leap 2 and Magic Leap 1 — the serial in Settings, under the forehead pad, and in Magic Leap Hub.
Magic Leap 2
In the headset: Settings → About device → Model & hardware — the serial number is listed there.
On the hardware: remove the forehead pad; the serial is printed on the headset underneath. Magic Leap 2 serials are 11 characters and start with a letter, e.g. G0000000000.
On the box: both the shipping box and the product box carry the serial on the outside — worth checking before you take the pad off, if the box is still around.
From a computer: Magic Leap Hub shows the connected device and its serial in the top-left of the dashboard. The Hub runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Magic Leap 1
Same Settings → About path on the device. On the hardware, the label is on the Lightpack (the belt-worn compute unit) rather than the headset — check the flat face near the ports and under the battery door.
Magic Leap 1 is end-of-life and its cloud services are gone. Log the units anyway — mark them Archived in the inventory rather than deleting them, so the count in a facilities document still matches what’s in the cabinet.

Magic Leap 2 and Magic Leap 1. Both shipped with accessories (belt-strap, hub, controller) — list those in the asset notes so an incomplete return is obvious.
